Living in a tri-state region of the Midwest, as a young man I lived in Nebraska, worked in Iowa, and dated a girl in South Dakota. I’m currently in Iowa and work in Nebraska on the weekends to this day. Because my wife and I will want our families close when we start a family, I think we’ll be around here for a while yet.
Creatively, the Midwest life has given me a lot to write about. There’s a lot of short stories and at least one novel’s worth of words in me about this diverse region I call home.
